This Privacy Notice has been prepared by the Company, in its capacity as data controller, in order to inform you, our esteemed online visitors, about your personal data that we process pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as the “PDPL”) and the relevant legal regulations.
1. Your Personal Data Processed and the Scope of the Processing
Personal data is any data that identifies you or makes you identifiable. For example, your name and surname, your telephone number or your e-mail address are each personal data. The processing of your personal data means any and all operations carried out on your data, such as obtaining, altering, recording, storing, erasing, disclosing and transferring. Information regarding the personal data that we process through this website is set out below:

2. Our Retention Period for Your Personal Data
Your personal data is retained for a period stipulated in the relevant legislation or for the periods required by the purposes of processing. In the event that the legal grounds requiring the processing of data cease to exist, your data is erased, destroyed or anonymised, either ex officio or upon your request.
3. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data
Data subject means the natural persons whose personal data is processed. In your capacity as data subjects, you, our esteemed online visitors, have the following rights regarding your personal data processed pursuant to the PDPL:
- to learn whether your personal data is processed,
- to request information in this respect if your personal data has been processed,
- to learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- to know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data is transferred,
- to request the rectification of personal data in the event that it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- to request the erasure or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth in the PDPL,
- to request that the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data and the erasure or destruction of personal data carried out upon your request be notified to the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
- to object to the emergence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by means of the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- to claim compensation for the damage in the event of suffering damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
4. The Methods You Must Follow in Order to Exercise Your Rights
Your applications and requests regarding your personal data may be submitted, via Human Resources,
- by sending them to the Company address together with your wet signature and a photocopy of your identity document,
- by signing with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature and sending them to the e-mail address ik@er-el.com.tr,
- by signing with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature and sending them to the address er-elmakina@hs01.kep.tr by means of registered electronic mail (KEP),
- by applying to the Company in person with a valid identity document
to the Company.
Within the scope of the legal obligations relating to the procedures and principles of application to the data controller, you, as data subjects, must include in your application your name, your surname, your signature if your application is in writing, your Turkish Republic Identity Number if you are a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye, your nationality and your passport (or identity, if any) number if you are a foreigner, your place of residence or business address for the purposes of notification, your e-mail address and fax number, if any, for us to take as the basis for notification, and finally the subject of your request. In addition to these, you must attach to your application the documents verifying your identity together with the information and documents relating to the subject of your request.
In order for us to conduct the process in the most effective manner for you, you must state clearly and comprehensibly, in the subject of your request, which of your rights you wish to exercise and the details relating to the action you request.
We would like to state with emphasis that the subject of the request must relate to the data subject himself/herself. If an application is made on behalf of someone else, the person making the request must rely on an authority that has been specifically documented for the requested action (power of attorney). Applications made without authority will not be taken into consideration.
5. Evaluation of Your Application
We evaluate your applications and respond to you as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days from the date on which your application reaches us.
